had an encounter with a lady yesterday at dollar general...i didn't plan on stopping anywhere because i had bandit with me...i wanted to make tuna salad and didn't know if i had enough mayo so i stopped at dollar general just for that...this woman that pulled in right when i did was waiting at the check out for me...she jumped all over me for leaving my dog in the car....well the windows were down and i was only in there for a minute...i told her i loved my dog and knew all about leaving him in a hot car...she continued to get in my face and i told her if she didn't shut her trap and get off my back my dog WOULD get over heated...and with that being said i left in a huff....and i don't need anyone here getting on my back about it either....it was only one minute that he was out there and it was 70 with a nice cool breeze.....he was fine. maybe i shouldn't have mentioned that but i had to get it off my chest....i love my dog more than anything and would never hurt him!!!!
one week from today i get to go see my new PCP finally!!! i sure hope she gets me some tests ordered!!! i have never had a bone density test and would like to have that done...i also want to have my hip and knee checked out to see why i hurt there so bad.
got a good desert recipe from ricks mom today...its for key lime pie. i tired a piece of it and its good!!!! here is how to make it....
KEY LIME PIE
1 9" graham cracker pie crust
1/4 cup boiling water
1 small package sugar free lime jello
2 6 ounce key lime yogurts
1 8 ounce cool whip
mix jello into water to disolve and then add rest of ingredients and mix well then pour into crust and chill.
you can also change flavors to make other flavors pie. good for a cool treat.

;-)
Hi Annette and my OFF friends,
I'm a little stiff today. I took yesterday off and did work on my yard and gardens to get ready for my sister's outdoor 25th wedding anniv. party at my house next weekend.
Today, I start some painting on the screened in porch and the kitchen. These are things I've been meaning to do but haven't gotten around to. It's a blessing in a way to be forced into it by scheduling a party. I also need to recover a kitchen stool seat. I have to get on hubby's back about finding the staple gun for me. I've asked twice already.
I could kick myself because I've been resorting to old poor choice habits of looking to food to comfort me in times of stress. Every morning I say, this will be the day I get on track and then I blow it again. I vowed with this surgery I would never go back and here I am 25 lbs. regained. UGGGHHH. So here I am again saying this will be the day . . .
Annette, I hope the docs get to the bottom of your health problems. Unfortunately, docs use the ER to emergency admit patients, so you're all mixed together. They should have a wing for emergency admissions. My Mom was in there three weeks ago to be admitted by her cardiac doc for afib. She spent 8 hours in the ER. They were so distracted by real emergencies that they didn't get her meds, requested by the doc, administered when they should have been. Talk about stressful for a cardiac patient! Thank goodness Mom's OK now. You almost need an advocate for you at the hospital. Luckily, my niece is an R.N. studying at Yale to be a nurse practitioner in Cardio. So she did a lot of complaining and got them moving. God bless the elderly who don't have their wits about them or have someone to fight for them.
Margo, please stay safe. I hope you have friends you can stay with to get out of the house for the night until the guy cools down. Can't wait til you move. I worry 'bout cha.
Hugs,
Bev
